On the shores of Lake Erie there is one of New York State's tuffist Cities.
Known for so much. They have contributed to the American way since the early 19th & 20th century. But the history dates as far back as the 17th century with the Native American Iroquois.
When the Erie canal opened in 1825 the trading town quickly turned in to a thriving metropolis. It at one point had the most millionaires per capita than anywhere else in the world.
Today it is known for its rich art culture, sports and long history during the industrial revolution.
